To the north of our apartment flows the Danube in all its glory. With bike trails on both sides of the river, we can take an easy stroll or go for a long run or bike trip any time we’d like. The trails are well-maintained and stretch more than 200 miles across Austria. We’re just a few kilometers outside of the Wachau region, which, according to Lonely Planet, is
considered Austria’s most spectacular section of the Danube. In 2000, it became a Unesco World Heritage site due to its “harmonious blend of natural and cultural beauty.”
I still can't believe that you are there...but now seeing the apt (cute and quant by the way) it makes it a little bit more real. holly
ReplyDeleteAngela and Michael,
ReplyDeleteWachau region is also one of the prime wine regions of Austria. An inadvertent oversight, I presume... Seriously, apartment and surroundings are as if scripted from a short story or travelogue. tom
